Associate Director

Could you share a memorable project that solidified your love for kitchen design?

Over the years, I’ve worked on numerous exciting projects, including designing a luxury property in Ivory Coast, Africa. Collaborating closely with the client and interior designers, we created a stunning design that took centre stage within the complex. Managing this challenging project on-site was rewarding. Specialising in residential kitchen interior design has led to unexpected opportunities, including traveling overseas for work. Starting as a visualizer/draft technician, I never imagined the diverse paths my career would take.

What designers do you like personally?

Not a designer as such, but the Spanish architect and structural engineer Santiago Calatrava. I’ve always been amazed by his distinctive architectural and engineering style combining structural daring with a sculptural aesthetic, drawing inspiration from organic forms found in nature.

The large futuristic cathedral like forms of his work are so unique, inspiring pieces of engineering and a true statement within their unique settings.

In 2017 I was fortunate enough to visit his signature work at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia (his home city), attending an event in the stunning Palau de les Arts. An experience and memory I’ll never forget.

What do you enjoy cooking the most at home with friends or family?

As a family, my wife and I have always enjoyed cooking and entertaining, although with two young children this has been limited over recent years. I would describe myself as more of a novice cook, but confident and gain a lot of enjoyment from cooking. My go to dish would be a wild Venison Steak, cooked medium-rare served with dauphinoise potatoes, fresh spring greens and a rich red current jus. Washed down by the obligatory glass of Pinotage…. Perfection!
